The hotel is very well located with plenty of parking, and is more or less opposite a Waitrose where there are cash machines and you can get provisions for a day out. The staff in the hotel are friendly and professional, the breakfasts are superb and for 2 nights of our 4 night stay we ate in the Victor Hugo restaurant in the hotel and both meals were memorable for all the right reasons. Really would struggle to fault this hotel - excellent!

A pleasant enough hotel where the staff were more than helpful. Service was good and bar food was very good and adequate.
Bedroom was spacious and well equipped but in need of some redecoration.
Buffet breakfast was very good with plenty of fresh food to choose from.

A flight cancellation meant we got to stay at the St Pierre Park for 1 night. We'd been at another hotel for 4 nights.....but wish we'd spent all our Guernsey nights here! The hotel is elegant whilst not being fussy and the public areas very spacious. The double room we had was perfect with nice views over the small lake and fountain. We found the staff extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We ate in the bar rather than the main restaurant and found the choice and quality of food excellent. Breakfast was buffet style with excellent selection of fresh food to choose from. We had time to make use of the indoor pool which was most welcome. The spa area is extremely nice with a choice of treatments at reasonable prices. There is a top class 9 hole Par 3 golf course adjacent to the hotel. The hotel is well situated about 10 mins from the centre of St PeterPort and on a main bus route. When we come back to Guernsey, we'll definitely stay here.

We stayed on a half board basis for seven nights and cannot fault the housekeeping, bed comfortable and the sleep quality was very good. As we stayed for several days we did appreciate a garden view - lovely grounds.
Breakfast was more than adequate, very good selection and extras like kippers and haddock were prepared to order (quite quickly) and at no extra charge.
To begin with we ate in the main restaurant, but became bored with the same menu each night - and -not every item was to our liking, the seafood offerings for example.
For a change we went to the bar and found more variety, but the service was a bit erratic. we did complain on Sunday night at the service and an adjustment was made to our account. The matter of the "boring" menu was raised with a manager at the time and I gather some specials are now to added to the restaurant menu each night - it cannot be a challenge to the chef to do the same thing every night either.
Staff were always friendly and helpful ( a couple of transfers to the harbour were appreciated)- thanks also to Tom for his repartee- and yes, we would return

We went over to Guernsey for the first time in April with friends on a 3 night for price of 2 deal
and were delighted with the newly refurbished rooms overlooking the bay. The hotel has 3stars but when all the rooms are refurbished will certainly deserve an extra star.
We ate the first night in the hotel £22 for four courses including coffee and can honestly say that the food probably the best we have ever had in a hotel. Beautifully cooked and presented to a very high standard. The wine list was very reasonable and with a fine selection of wines to choose from. We ate out the next night but returned to the hotel for our final evening's meal and finished our holiday by having a 3 course lunch for £12. We think that you would be hard pushed to find anywhere better to eat in St Peters Port. Breakfasts were to an equally high standard. There is a cosy lounge and bar and huge sun terrace to relax with a drink or two in the evening. If you are a keen swimmer and go on holiday out of season there is a large indoor pool within a few minutes walk of the hotel.
We would certainly go back to the hotel, maybe for a summer or autumn break and cannot recommend it too highly especially a 3 for 2 night deal.
The staff at the hotel were very friendly and could not do enough to help.

From the moment of arrival, the quality of service was apparent. The quiet, efficient reception, even though we were early, helped to ease the stress of travel. We temporarily left our luggage in the reception store, and the next time we saw it, it was in our room! Our room was airy, clean and comfortable. It was maintained so well throughout our stay by cheerful yet inobtrusive staff. The restaurant served quality meals, particularly dinner, which was so very well presented. Every member of staff we met, smiled and said 'hello'. They all gave the impression of being there to help. We are definitely going again!

Stayed for 4 nights on business. Room was small but adequate and the decor was...colorful. Bed was excellent, and with a bad back, I tend to remember bad ones! Breakfast lovely, with very attentive but unobtrusive staff. Probably only reason I wouldn't award 5, is the lack of space to work in the room. Small desk and just a stool to sit on at correct height. Ate in the Leopard restaurant one evening and it was very good, look for the fish specials.

Just returned from an all too brief stay whilst on business locally. It’s been over a year since I last stayed but was a very welcome return. The hotel is high quality in every respect but what sets it aside from other establishments is the staff. Nothing is ever too much trouble, they are always attentive but never intrusive. Olga who manages the team in the restaurant is exceptional, a consummate professional who goes out of her way to ensure you have a perfect dining experience, I’ve never been anything but delighted with the food it’s always fresh, tasty, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented . I would agree with another reviewer the standard rooms are not vast but they are spotlessly clean, very well appointed with high quality fixtures and fittings, if you need acres of space book a superior room or suite. I look forward to my next visit whenever that may be.

From arrival at the hotel to departure, we could not fault the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff. We had booked the wine tasting package which was hosted by Orlando and he introduced us to some wonderful red wines. He made the experience fun and we would recommend it to anyone. We were asked beforehand what type of wines we would like to sample. The quality of the food, cooking and presentation was excellent and we could not fault either this or the service. Thank you to Olga and all of the team! Please stay here if you can. We think you will not be disappointed!

After having returned to Germany safe and sound it is essential for me to say thank you again for a wonderful holiday. This time I got a "blue room" and I really loved it. The view was nice and enough space for all the stuff which I always need for a three weeks stay. The food was excellent and the service not only in the Restaurant, where Olga, Carina, Bianca and Orlando are taking a tantastic care for everybody, but also in all other parts of the hotel was awesome. As usual I was lucky with the weather and there is no better place for an afternoon coffee as on the terrace of the DOR. Thanks a lot and I definitely look forward to see everybody again next year.
