Lovely spa day which included lunch, a full body massage and access to all facilities. Great food, attentive staff and superb facilities (the gym is great and it includes a spinning studio). They surprised us with a surprise cake as it was my husband's birthday.

I'm here with my two children and auntie.
The rooms are spacious and very comfortable there is plenty of room for the extra bed in my room. The staff are superb, nothing is too much trouble. The pool and outside hot tub are great. Changing facilities are a joy.
The Victor Hugo restaurant is exceptionally good. My two children were allowed to share a main course rather than be confined to the children's menu.
My risotto was the best I have had outside Italy.
The ribs my children had were perfect.
My Aunty thought her steak too rare for her taste (it looked perfect to me) but it was replaced without hesitation and very quickly with a freshly cooked steak.
Pudding of passion fruit tart was excellent and the homemade brandysnap basket my son's sorbet came in was a lovely surprise - very buttery.
Prices were par for the course for such a high class establishment. £109 for the four of us 2 courses each,4 soft drinks 4 large glasses of wine.
The restaurant staff were exceptional.

My daughter and I have just returned from a 3 nights stay at this beautiful Hotel - our 4th visit to the lovely Island of Guernsey. Arriving at 11am on a Friday morning we were very happy to find that our room was all ready for us. The ladies on reception were very pleasant and explained everything to us including breakfast arrangements and all the facilities. We were fairly satisfied with our room overlooking the entrance of the Hotel and though we asked if there was a fan available (there is no air conditioning in the rooms) we were only slightly concerned about feeling too uncomfortable in the night. However, we had a very unsettling night and not due to the heat surprisingly. Our room was an adjoining room to the one next door and the guests in this room decided to have a awful blazing row from about 11pm to about 1 in the morning. Then at dawn they decided to start chatting and giggling which once again kept us awake. The next morning I went straight down to reception to explain what had happened in the night and how upset we were. The reception staff were brilliant. They showed real concern and immediately allocated us to another room. They also said that if we had dialled reception at the time a duty manager would have come up immediately to sort out the problem. In hindsight I wish we had. I can't find enough words to thank reception for their swift and sympathetic response and excellent customer service - the remainder of our stay was thankfully both peaceful and relaxing. This Hotel is in a beautiful setting with well manicured gardens and a lake with a fountain at the back of the Hotel. The appearance at the entrance of the Hotel is very grand and I could see it is extremely well looked after. Breakfast is served buffet style with cereals, fresh fruit, and cooked breakfast - the breakfast staff are impeccably mannered. There is even a gluten free section. There is a formal dining area in the evening which we didn't try so I can't comment on this. However, there is a less formal restaurant which serves food virtually all day and we enjoyed 2 meals here which was very nice. The pool and spa facilities are new and though we didn't try them I thought the renovation looked very attractive. The thing I liked most about this Hotel was how peaceful it was and our upset on the first night was handled very well by the reception staff for which I can't praise highly enough. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to anyone wanting a restful break. There is a bus stop outside which goes to St Peter Port in 10 minutes and there is Waitrose supermarket opposite. We both agreed we will definitely be back... Thank you for a lovely stay.

Friendly and welcoming staff, beautifully decorated rooms and hotel, very nice swimming pool. Location is only ok, but there are buses available and taxis. I would definitely recommend this hotel for luxury, one of my favourite stays was here.

Took my sister away for her special birthday. Was a very relaxing hotel with good amenities. Room was clean and comfortable but ask for a garden view room when you book - our room overlooked the front of the hotel so not so enticing to sit on the balcony! Reception desk staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a delight - good choice of food, well laid out and replenished frequently. Really started the day well. Housekeeping left a little to be desired - kept forgetting to replenish essentials such as toilet rolls so had to ask at reception. Food for evening meal was up and down - mainly good but service sometimes let it down. Took a while to come so food was sometimes lukewarm.
Location good if you want a quieter holiday - bus into St Peter Port a couple of minutes away. Wait rose across road if you need any treats or essentials.
Would recommend this hotel for a short break especially if it is your first trip to Guernsey which has a range of good places to visit and eat.

We spent three nights here and first impressions were good. The staff are friendly and helpful and our room was clean and spacious, overlooking the entrance to the hotel. Sadly no air conditioning in the rooms and so despite leaving the patio door open overnight we had three very hot, sweaty and restless nights. The room has everything you would ordinarily need including bath robes, hairdryer, ironing board, tea and coffee facilities and a mini bar.
Bathroom was a good size with plenty of towels and complimentary soap, shower gel, etc.
Breakfast consists of a buffet which has everything you might expect and want from a hotel of this standard. Juices, cereals, yoghurts, dried fruits, nuts, fresh fruits, bread, croissants, pastries and of course the traditional English breakfast options. There is also a gluten free selection. We found the service to be attentive but somewhat clumsy and forgetful. There appeared to be some inexperienced staff present lacking basic service etiquette. In that I mean clearing plates whilst someone else on the table was still eating, spilling coffee on the table cloth whilst pouring, forgetting to bring the toast and trying to take items away that were still needed and us having to ask for them to be left. This can all be resolved with some in house training though. The grounds are lovely and peaceful and we enjoyed a morning stroll around. The parking area is good and the overall appearance outside is well kept. There is a bus stop about 3 mins walk from the hotel and goes into town. It's very convenient and safe to use during the evening / late night but taxis are also readily available. There is a Waitrose supermarket about 5 mins up the road if you need any last minute bits or just fancy keeping your bar tab or mini bar costs down.
Sadly we didn't have time to experience the spa or pool facilities but it looked very clean and up to date.
I'd definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel but it's expensive so try to get yourself a deal at the time of booking. 3 nights for the price of 2 or similar.

Stayed there last week for 7 nights. The facilities are excellent and the staff are very professional and helpful. Stayed half board so ate in the Victor Hugo restaurant which was also very nice. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

Good location for access into St Peter Port town, we walked it there and back a few times and it took us around half an hour.

I recommend staying at this hotel when visiting Guernsey.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the St Pierre Park. Can easily take a bus from the airport to St Peter Port and then number 41 or 42 which takes you just outside the hotel. We had transfers booked however which does make life easier. Hotel was very clean with most obliging staff who can't do enough for you. In particular thanks to Ilenia who was a great waitress and Tim on the evening reception shift who was a delight, very obliging and helpful. The rooms are clean and well appointed with the expected facilities and in our case a balcony over looking the gardens. Our only point of concern was the loud music in our rooms from two events taking place. However the manager did warn us and the music stopped by 11pm. Possibly too late for some even so. The pool was great and we could swim proper lengths. The sauna, sream room and outdoor jacuzzi were great additions. Changing rooms were spacious and clean.Spa treatments are available but we didnt indulge. Breakfast was extensive with a huge choice. The first night we were lucky to dine in the Victor Hugo restaurant where our choice was absolutely delicious. We were ' entertained' however by a quarrelsome group who were 'celebrating' a member of staff's leaving do!! Nevertheless compliments to the chef for the superb food. There are several restaurants and cafes in the complex, lovely gardens, a stream, a family of ducks, a childrens play area and a golf course. We were completly happy that the hotel was slightly out of town and enjoyed the £1 bus rides in. We took advantage of a round the island bus trip, still for £1 as long as you didn't get off the bus. A lovely coast line! St Peter Port is pretty and we also took the bus to see the German occupation museum and the grim German underground hospital. All worth seeing. A highlight was a day trip to Sark. We recommend it. Buy tickets at the harbour. Thank you St Pierre for a very pleasant stay.

we stayed for a week on a B&B basis and had a lovely time. Breakfasts were well catered for with a very good choice. There were gluten free bread and porridge available too. The bar meals were very nice and reasonably priced and the main restaurant still had nice food but portions not as big and more expensive.
The refurbishment of the spa is amazing and very well finished. We used the pool, gym and had a spa treatment - all good.
