I stay at this hotel quite a lot and find the staff fantastic, they always want to help and do a great job
The new pool and gym are really good
There is a lovely view from the terrace of the golf course, lake and children's park
The hotel are undergoing constant upgrades this year new carpets , lounge furniture , gym,spa etc
The bathrooms are spotless with powerful showers and modern the decor of bedrooms is getting a little dated but each room has its own fridge
The breakfast is very good with a wide variety of tastes catered for

Had a brilliant 5 night stay on a handpicked 5 for 4 night deal in the Alderney suite. Room was huge with outdoor seating area & hot tub. Bed very comfortable. Nespresso machine & pods included. Television is standard would be better if a smart TV.
Used the gym & pool both very good. Breakfast a buffet but great choice with very attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The room staff were the same really friendly. I thoroughly recommend this hire for family or couples.

The glass conservatory attached to an elegant Victorian house serves morning coffee, light lunches and afternoon tea. Outside is a small veranda with stunning views of Herm, Jethou and Sark. Very popular with locals. If wanting lunch booking is recommended.
The Cotils is a Christian Centre set in peaceful surrounds.Peter m

We walked from Candie Gardens to Les Cotils for a return visist. it is so very pretty and restful here. We had a few coffees at the café over looking the gardens. We wondered around the large gardens, were a member of our party remembered playing when he was a small child. Lots of things had changed but the essence of the place is still the same. Welcoming, relaxing and peaceful. It is a lovely place to stay and visit.

We were invited to a private luncheon for 85 guests. The format was buffet style 3-course so we jumped up and down, but the food was faultless and the service first-rate. Buffet first course was unlimited fish, shellfish, and salads, and the main course was a choice (or all) of roast joints as well as cooked salmon etc. And the puddings were delicious. All absolutely fabulous! What a super place. You can stay there very inexpensively and I understand the breakfast is wonderful too.

I stayed at Les Cotils for 3 nights on business. The hotel used to be a convent, but has been nicely converted to its current use. There’s plenty of parking if you arrive by car.
There was a friendly greeting at reception, and I was shown to my room quickly. The room was simply but comfortably furnished, and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable. My room had a shower rather than a bath, which suited me perfectly.
I had dinner on 2 evenings. The menu changes daily in the restaurant, which has superb views over the grounds and beyond to the sea. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food I had was of excellent quality; local crab and lobster soup, fresh sea bass, for example, and a really good salad of figs, feta cheese and raspberries. Portion size was just right. There’s a bar with a good selection of drinks. Food and drink is reasonably priced.
Breakfast is the usual buffet arrangement. Worthy of note is the rotary toaster that actually works!
The hotel has a comfortable sitting room, a library and a coffee shop.
It’s also a conference venue and I used these facilities. Everything was very well organised; sandwich lunches were full of variety and came with really good fresh fruit.
The atmosphere here is very welcoming, relaxed and calm, something I appreciated.
The gardens are extensive and perfect from a walk after dinner. There’s a path to the town of St Peter Port - easy going down the hill, quite tiring coming back!
I would definitely stay here again.

First time visiting Les Cotils, I was impressed by the size of their premises. I noticed that they had different meeting rooms available such as the Sark room, and I was told they have a Guernsey Room and Herm room. I must say, I thought that was a nice touch.
Our room was the Carol Hindes Room and it was set up wonderfully. Food came in a timely order and flavour wise, they did brilliantly! I especially enjoyed my main, which was cod. (That sauce with it, really hit the spot!). Naturally, I choose to have dessert as well. I opted for the cheesecake with berries and that was equally delicious.
Many thanks and well done, Les Cotils and staff members!
