I have known and worked with Network for a number of years and always found the team to exhibit both professionalism and friendliness which seem to go to the core of this family business.

In December 2020, Vicki Montgomery said about Network Insurance & Financial Planning
In a time of huge stress and worry, Network and in particular, Ollie Goater, continuously went above and beyond to reassure, inform and deliver an extremely competent and honest service. With such a large claim there was always going to be a huge amount of work and Network's time and availability was invaluable when dealing with loss adjusters and insurance companies - many thanks.

We Sat outside there were four friends who really enjoyed lunch here at this new restaurant.Well the service we received was absolutely fantastic. The food we all ate was top knotch!!! We really enjoyed especially as we could sit outside.Only negative is had we Sat inside there are way to many tables close together, for us it's a no no,remedy this factor and when weather not so great we will come again and again.

The service is great and the food is lovely. The location and outdoor terrace is something I’ll think of after I’m back home in the UK, what a lovely place. The crab salad was 100%! We will be back.

Booked for an early evening anniversary meal. Just as well; filled up quickly after 7.30 on a Saturday.
Very tasty chowder starter with unusually large cubes of al dente root veg in it. Main course of herb encrusted lamb was mouth-watering. Quite sufficient without side dishes, all extra cost.Cheapest wine at £19/bottle seems reasonable.
Service was excellent, attentive and polite.

We moored up in Beaucette marina and didn’t have any time scales of how long we would be staying, heard this place hadn’t long reopened which was fab as right on the doorstep so tried on our first day, a Friday lunch which seemed quite busy but was allowed to sit anywhere we wished when we turned up, staff seemed to be a bit like we will be right with you etc which in fairness was fair and we were in no rush so the wait was acceptable, food ordered and was well presented although what you see is what you get..... second visit which was a much quieter day with a lot of vacant tables outside to be told all in the shade were already reserved... this was clearly not the case as we sat in the blazing sunshine spending a fair amount of money on drinks and a three course meal when (have since found out was the owner of the place) let three ladies sit in the shade for two hours with a coffee and tap water each.. along came another group of three girls who were greeted with “didn’t realise you were coming so I can give you a nice table” right next to ours in the shade..were by this time the heat was literally becoming unbearable for us dining, eventually moved to the lawn area to have dessert as it all became too much and just felt like if your face fits then your all good......all that aside I had a birthday celebration to have and decided it would be easy on a Sunday just to stay in the marina so on the third visit my hubby pre booked us in for lunch, we arrived early and said we were happy to have a drink at the bar and wait for the table as not an issue, no issue there table was already waiting and all seemed swimmingly organised, food was again presented well and I must add for a Sunday roast not cooked by myself it was absolutely fantastic as would not normally order this from anywhere, the service and atmosphere on Sunday 14th July which was our last visit was second to none, the food was delicious, tasty and hot, the service was perfect, staff were all chatty and happy and it seemed that the place had taken on a new era from our first visit in the eleven days we were there.... hoping when we next visit the lawn will have park benches with umbrellas for the people that just want water and coffee and the terrace stays reserved for the people actually dining as this is a gem of a place if they just get the final touches right, a massive mention to max and his team on my birthday for making it very nice and special indeed, they really did pull out all the stops to ensure we had the best day ever, will look forward to returning for sure, so thank you max and the crew for that day as it did get five stars opposed to the three I was originally going to leave had I not had the best day there.... will point out it closes at five on a Sunday (last orders 2.30) for food and is closed all day on a Monday and has a different and varied tasty menu offering in the week and sunday... enjoy if you visit the views are fantastic....

I have just returned from spending ten days at the Duke of Richmond. As usual my room 315 was immaculate and the young ladies who looked after it kept it so .
As has been said the selection at breakfast was excellent and served with a cheery word and a smile.
The chefs working in full view of the restaurant, produced superb meals each evening. I particularly enjoyed the fish dishes. The staff in the restaurant are amazing and made me feel at ease throughout my stay. Olga,Sarah, Anita were real stars but everyone was so obliging.
I look forward to returning later in the year!

It was our first time on the island and from the moment we walked inside the hotel, it was like a fairy tale. Adorable Georgia greeted us and seemed to already know our names and from that minute on, everyone we encountered greeted us first by our surname. She immediately offered that we had been upgraded to a room with a view. At first, that comment did not register with me, as we were tired from the ferry journey. The room, however, was very lovely and more than suited our needs. (Sark) it was especially nice to be in an end room as my husband is hearing impaired and needed the television louder than most. I did not have to be concerned that we would be too loud for the adjoining room, which was comforting to me. The bellman, Zoltan, was there at every turn to offer his assistance.

We were impressed in every way with the staff of the DOR. Each morning and evening we dined in the restaurant allowing us to form a solid bond with all in Orlando’s care. He was so engaging! I enjoyed reading that he has been with the DOR for over 20 years. Wow! That speaks highly of the Red Carnation hotels!

Olga and Csilla, two of my FAVES, were appreciated for her sincerity and knowledge of the daily fare. The new, young staff was excellent! I enjoyed getting to hear their ‘stories’ and their attention to detail every day.

The chefs, and especially the sous chef, Pedro, (who is extremely talented and may be under appreciated) were on target with every offering, and I believe we ordered them all! Thank each of you: Olga, Csilla, Sarah, Angela, Paul, Andre, Yazia, Andra, Linda and Thomas!

The only aspect of our DOR experience that I would change is the parking dilemma. I tired of jockeying our rental car up and down the street within the city time frames. The only point one of the 4 parking spaces opened, was our last night there, which was perfect, as I had received a $30 parking ticket on the 4th day and I was about to ‘lose it.’ I reluctantly paid this online, and think the hotel, with all the other amenities offered, should consider an alternative.

Back to Georgia...this young professional is on top of everything and I know soon she will be promoted! No request was too difficult, every wish was granted, except for the parking ticket, and I just loved her! Her love for her job and for the Red Carnation brand emanated for her bones! She was the overall shining star of our 5 day visit!
On Georgia’s only day off while we were there, Alexandra did an outstanding job!

And may I say, even though the hotel was preparing for special guests from the parent company the last 2 days we were there, we were still greeted and treated as we were the only ones that mattered! Outstanding service!

Keep up the great work! Ooo, I do have an idea you might want to investigate. We stayed at a small hotel in Poole the night before coming to Guernsey, and they offered in room teas from a local UK company that were outstanding! So much so, I’ve placed an online order...Bird & Blend Tea Company...such refreshing choices!

On our future journeys, we will seek out Red Carnation hotels. Again, thank you for your splendid hospitality and do relay our gratitude to these very important employees! They make you great!

I’ve stayed here a few times and it is always just so good. It’s the staff.... every one of them is polite, warm and professional. There is a culture here that must come from the top, so well done.

I wasn’t well on one day - I received a call from the Reception team enquiring as to how I was. A few minutes later a discreet knock at the door and when I opened it there was a bottle of Lucozade and some Berocca. Amazing.
