From the moment you arrive you know you’re going to enjoy your visit. The staff are warm and welcoming and the service is fantastic. The decor is elegant with a lovely modern feel to it.
The food in the restaurant is exceptional and clearly making the most of local produce. The fish pie is simply the best I’ve ever had, contemporary in design yet with that feeling of comfort food.
To top it all off, I was treated to a lovely surprise when the staff found out it was my birthday.
Thank you to all of you who made my visit so enjoyable.

We stayed just before Easter and had a great few nights. We were two families each with an eight year old. The staff were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We used the pool and spa facilities every day, although they restrict the times for children it worked out really well. We didn't eat in the restaurant but had drinks out on the terrace (fantastic in the evening sun) and drank in the bar later. Bar tender very funny and really attentive despite being busy. Breakfast was good, our only niggle was the slightly poor coffee. Really good selection food wise but would recommend an earlier sitting as some things did tend to run out. Overall first rate hotel and would definitely go again.

We arrived by car in Guernsey and easily found the hotel on the outskirts of St Peter Port. There is ample free parking at the hotel. Our check in was very smooth and we were in our room within five minutes. We had a room with a garden view which includes a lake and fountain it was perfect. The room was spacious, especially the bathroom which had two large shelves to accommodate toilet bags etc.

The breakfast was good with the usual wide range of food available. You could order special food items such as omelettes separately. Unfortunately we did suffer a glitch in the service when it took about 20 minutes for my omelette to arrive but I suppose these things happen occasionally. We only ate in the bar in the evening but the food was good and the price reasonable. Our room sustained a lighting failure one evening which took about 1hour and half to repair after further prompting by myself. This was poor.

Would I use this hotel again yes I definitely would. We enjoyed our stay and the hotel fully warrants its 4 star rating.

Excellent staff particularly on reception. Spacious and spotless room (most rooms seem to have balcony or terrace) and the food was good. Pool area had recently been refurbished and was lovely. Stunning grounds with massive pond. Lots of tourist info available and a walk into St Peters Port was 20-30 minutes. Handy supermarket almost opposite entrance for those of us who always forget an essential. Hotel obviously also very popular for business meetings and seminars for which the facilities looked perfect especially with ample parking.

Very enjoyable break at St Pierre Park - clean and comfortable room with a great hot-tub and very good food in the Victor Hugo restaurant with plenty of local produce. Service helpful and good standard.

We booked the St Pierre Park hotel having previously enjoys stays at other Hand Picked Hotels. We were in Guernsey for a long weekend at the end of March, the hotel was easy to find by car and we welcomed the 3 for 2 night offer during our stay. The hotel had a reasonable size car park and check-in was straightforward. Our room overlooked the lake and had a small balcony with table and chair which facilitated us catching the afternoon sun. Our room had a large wardrobe, tea and coffee area and a mini fridge. We felt the room could benefit from less of the old furniture which was dark and not in great condition to make more room for relaxing and making the balcony better accessible. The road alongside the hotel was quiet noisy, especially with motorbikes, this was not helped by the old patio doors which were ackward to open and close.
The buffet breakfast selection was very good, tea, coffee and toast of your choice were brought to the table once we were seated. One morning there were two large parties at breakfast and the hot buffet ran out, whilst I understand this can happen, it was frustrating that this went unnoticed by Alex and his team and we then had to wait sometime before the buffet was replenished.
The Terrace Bar was very good, we ate here each night, they offered a selection of hot and cold food and puddings. Relaxed sofa's, dining tables and chairs to suit all guests and a number of board games were available. Dave, Hugo and I think his name was Philip ran an excellent service during our stay, all polite, attentive and worked well as a team.
Wi-fi was available in the hotel and there was a Waitrose just across the road for essential items.

Arrived at 7pm and was looking at the menu on display at reception while checking in. We noticed that there was a carvery in the Victor Hugo restaurant, asked reception if we could book a table at 8pm and was told it would be booked and just give our room number.
We went to our room on the second floor over looking the car park. Nice big room, nice bathroom very clean. Very pleased with the room.
After a freshen up we went down to the Restaurant looking forward to the carvery. We were met at the door and said we had booked for 8pm, only to be told by a surly Gentleman that there was no way we could be accommodated, we said we had booked through reception, He said they should check with him first and to take a seat and he would arrange a table in 30 mins. Three other couples came in after us and were also told to take a seat , he then offered these couples drinks while they waited. We went to the bar and got our own as he never offered us any.
He then gave us a menu, we asked about the carvery but this finished at 2pm, (why was this menu still on display at reception, and why didnt the receptionist point this out as it was obvious this is what we were looking at).The menu was not large in choice and overpriced for what was being served. The waiting staff were very good but our first evening had been spoilt by the restaurant managers attitude. when we were leaving he did point out he had found our reservation but blamed reception for putting a room number and not our name.
Breakfast was by far a better experience , a large choice of cereal , cold meat, bread fruit and traditional help yourself English . The waiting staff offered Tea / coffee and toast. Nearly every day we had to keep asking for butter and milk.
Spent our evenings in the bar and had bar menu for meals as the hotel is a 20-30 min walk from the town and buses stop at 7.30pm, Bar menu had a good choice but was still a little pricey. Staff in bar were very good and friendly.
Swimming pool was nice clean and warm . Sauna and steam room beside the pool and were very good.
just the little things and the restaurant managers attitude stopped this being better than average. Would we return? possibly but would hire a car to use local restaurants with better choice.

Having seduced us with it's cleanliness, location and amenities in 2016, there was only one choice for my Fiancé and I when booking our now seemingly annual trip to Guernsey.....The beautiful St Pierre Park hotel, Spa and Golf resort.

I was excited to see Dutch, the young Swedish trainee again but alas, he had moved on to pastures new. Step forward Alvis, he greeted us at the door, took our bags to the rooms whilst we checked in, showed us around our room (254), it was slightly awkward when he lingered in the room for 3 or 4 seconds longer than was comfortable, but that's just Alvis for you. He's such a character. His brothers Elvis and Ulvis have a lot to live up to.

We had the same room that the noisy occupant from last year had, which did make me nervous as he seemed very unsavoury for this type of establishment, however I was confident the room had been sufficiently cleansed in the last 12 months. Again my only complaints were due to the other guests, there was a rather uncouth couple 2 doors down, a brash Welsh gentleman and a rather shrill lady with a north Nottinghamshire accent, we couldn't have our balcony doors open due to this couple, they were constantly arguing, I don't think my ears will ever forget the night they made up though! I'm assuming they were paying guests so not the hotels fault.

This year we had the chance to enjoy the fully refurbished gym and pool area, we spent one delightful morning enjoying the sun and hot tub area, it wasn't until late in the morning that we discovered the service button, this could have been better advertised. The gym has a wide range of equipment and facilities, my personal favourites are the cold water dispenser and the full range of weights available on the kettle bells (4kg, 6kg, 8kg, 10kg, 12kg, 14kg, 16kg, 18kg, 20kg, 24kg) There was a child in the pool, which completely ruined the ambiance but I found the temperature adequate and the depth acceptable. The sauna was as hot as the steam room was moist.

I took full advantage of the complimentary mints in reception but was aghast to see that the post cards are not longer free, be prepared to part with 25p or 50p for the slightly larger ones. This is an excellent business decision to maximise profits but ethically I would question this decision.

Breakfast was exceptional again, I stuck to what I know - gluten free chocolate flavoured rice puffs with whole milk. I did enjoy a cheeky pork sausage sandwich one day, I was on holiday you can't blame me! I found the bread to be dry and the butter was a little too chilled to spread, but the flavour was immense, it was like a sausage party in my mouth and all the sausages were invited. I found myself going back for more sausage, I ended up in a bit of mess, sausage juice all down my chin. The beef sausage wasn't as nice, didn't feel like a sausage you would munch on for breakfast, more of a sausage to enjoy for dinner, possibly lunch.

I firmly believe this to be the best hotel in Guernsey, if not the whole of the Channel Islands. They certainly have set my expectations high...see you next year St. Pierre Park, see you next year......

Arrived and went to room , found sock and balcony door unable to be locked , these were resolved once highlighted , should not have needed to complain about basics, After this the hotel did well, Terrace bar staff polite and good service, Spa pool very good, breakfast was normal for this type of hotel, only had a light bar meal which was good, as we ate out to see what Guernsey had to offer , I would use this hotel again as it's position is quite central , bus stops outside , 25 min walk to St Peter Port sea front , or £5:50 by taxi.
