In recent weeks I have met a very dynamic and driven local back to work mum who, upon returning to work after having children, became so frustrated with trying to find a rewarding and flexible part-time job she set up her own business doing just that. Enter Back2workmum – a Cobham-based coaching and recruitment agency which supports Surrey mums looking to return to the workplace.
Back2workmum founder, Naz Lewis, launched the business in January 2009 and is celebrating its first successful year with a pink champagne reception lunch and celebrity guest speaker.
Saira Khan, star of the BBC Apprentice programme and founder of the natural baby skincare range Miamoo, will share with the audience of like-minded mums her experiences of starting a business and offer tips and advice on getting back into work after having a baby.
The Back2workmum first birthday celebration lunch is £25 per head and will take place on Wednesday 27 January 2010 from 11.30am to 2pm at The Talbot Inn near Guildford in Ripley. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
