The Best of Guildford is all about local. We know that small, independent businesses have a lot to bring to our high streets and often perform better than the big chains, especially when it comes to quality and customer service.
We also know that without their customers, small businesses will disappear; they don't have bigger branches to prop them up.
We all love independent shops and we don't want them to close. That's why the Best of Guildford will be spending the week of 2-8 June celebrating small businesses and showing them how much we care.
There are lots of ways you can take part. We've got posters, bunting and balloons for you to decorate your premisis with. Chris Towndrow from London Corporate Media will be making a video featuring local businesses. And on 7 June, Buy Local will be having its grand finale on Guildford High Street, when Paul, Tom, Sally (and probably Daniella too!) will be out in force, giving out Buy Local goodie bags.
