Surrey County Council is urging the county’s residents to complete their 2011 census forms in time for the deadline of this coming Sunday, 27 March.
Residents are being asked to fill in their forms either by post or online as the nation's biggest survey gets under way.
The census, which is organised by the Office for National Statistics every ten years, will provide Surrey County Council with valuable information that will allow funding and public services to be effectively targeted.
The detailed data collected will also be used by the government to gain an accurate picture of the UK population to enable it to provide effective services.
All information collated will be kept confidential for 100 years.
For further information contact the census helpline on 0300 0201 101 or visit the census website: http://www.census.gov.uk/
