For all you football fans out there – and for those of us who are really not bothered but very happy to drink up the atmosphere along with a decent glass of wine – The Talbot Inn at Ripley is showing FIFA World Cup matches on its “largest screen in the village” 40 inch flat screen TV.
The events are taking place in their Wisley Suite or Emma’s Lounge and the next England match is this coming Friday (18 June) at 7.30pm. If you’re really keen however there are several other games showing before then.
