Getting rid of your Guildford Christmas tree
6th January 2014
... Comments

Happy Twelfth Night, everyone! After all the decorations have come down, the Santa jumpers have been mothballed and the musical Christmas doormat has been returned to the loft (thank goodness!), what are you going to do with your Christmas tree? Well, ours is artificial so we just put it back in the box...but if you have a real one, it’s time to recycle it.

Guildford council is accepting Christmas trees for recycling at twenty-nine locations in the area until 17 January 2014. The full list can be found here. The old Christmas trees will be composted and the compost used by the council’s greening team.
