The Guildford Fringe Festival takes place for the first time this summer, running from 1-28 July and organised by the Guildford Fringe Theatre Company. The programme is already pretty packed with a huge variety of performances and events ranging from a work-in-progress musical to stand up comedy as well as quizzes and debates. As you may know, previous Guildford Fringe events have taken place at the atmospheric but versatile Star Inn on Quarry Street. This year’s Festival is no exception but next year it hopes to be able to open up even more performance venues (traditional and otherwise!) in Guildford.
Nick Wyschna, the Creative Director, is booking in new acts all the time – keep an eye on the Facebook event page for developments!
