Just in the process of completing an inventory for a Landlady as we have a tenant moving in tomorrow. The last tenancy didn't have a detailed statement of condition so when the tenants moved out and had left some damage she wasn't able to take the dilipapidation from their deposit. This is the first time she has used us and for as litlle as £80 her property is now protected should the worst happen. Obviously it wont because we sourced the tenants for this let! :-)
Got a viewing tomorrow on a 4 bed house to let in Godalming which we have had for 3 days and other agents have had for 5 weeks, hope we let it - real poke in the eye to those competitors, we chase down suitable tenants rather than hoping someone comes along. We do this by keeping a detailed database on some seriously expensive software, but it is worth it!
Busy day tomorrow then - this move in, the viewing and then an appraisal for a 2 bed flat in Guildford all need doing ebfore lunchtime!
