This year’s Guildford Summer Festival has begun and what an eclectic line-up there is.
From guided tours of the Guildford Hydro Project – the town’s very own hydro-electric power station – to the annual Guilfest music festival, there really is something for everyone.
To whet your appetite, this coming weekend (26 to 27 June) Loseley Park is hosting the Celebrating Surrey Festival which is an outdoor spectacular celebrating the county’s music, art, community, performance, food and drink. There will be live performances and various activities including free workshops providing visitors with the chance to try their hand at dance and drama.
The Guildford Summer Festival 2010 runs from 18 June to 1 August. For further information visit www.guildfordsummerfestival.co.uk
