Bar des Arts is inviting Guildford folk to attend a coffee morning on Friday, September 26 from 10am in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support’s ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’.
There will be tea and cake for people to purchase and £1 from every cake sold will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support’s flagship event. Last year (2013), 154,000 people signed up to the coffee morning, raising a record £20million for the charity. This year Macmillan is hoping to raise even more money.
People are welcome to make additional contributions to the charity on the day as well as take along any cakes they’ve made at home.
