Award-winning poets Rachael Clyne and Maggie Sawkins will be reading their poetry at the bar on Tuesday, May 19 from 7.30pm.
Rachael performs regularly at events across the country and has had several anthologies and collections of her poems published. She also won the Indigo Dreams’ George Stevens Memorial Prize for her poetry.
Maggie was the winner of the Ted Hughes Award for New Work in Poetry in 2013 and will be reading work from her new collection ‘Zones of Avoidance’ on the night.
Entry to the poetry evening is free and people wanting to sign up for a slot should arrive early at 7pm.
