Are you ready for some March Madness? Bar des Arts is hosting a poetry evening on Tuesday, March 19 with some great performers lined up from 7.30pm. Entry is free.
Special guest poet David Cooke will be performing a variety of his pieces on the night and Cheryl McLennan will also be entertaining the audience with some of her understated and surreal humour.
Cathy Flower will be returning to the bar with her funny poems and songs and Thomas Thurman will be reading his dramatic and parodic poems.
Anyone is welcome to sign up to perform on the night. Artists should arrive early to secure a slot or email popupoets@gmail.com.
