Bar des Arts is hosting its next poetry night on Tuesday, July 15. Ernie Burns, Robert Garnham, Holly Hopkins and the Claire Booker Players will be the guest speakers on the night, which will start at 7.30pm.
Ernie Burns is a regular open mic night performer and his poems use a combination of quirky humour and a left-field view of life.
The master of timing and wit, Robert Garnham will also be reading his works and there will be a comedy performance titled ‘Last Man in Watford’ from Claire Booker’s Players, Holly Hopkins is a regular performer at the Poetry School in London and will be on the Bar des Arts stage to read her humorous poetry.
Entry to the poetry evening is free and people are welcome to sign up to perform on the night. Performers should arrive at 7pm on the night.
