Murray Shelmerdine, Cheryl Maclennan, Mel Jones and Thomas Thurman will be performing their works at the next poetry night at Bar des Arts on Tuesday, April 15 from 7.30pm.
Murray is an accomplished singer-songwriter and poet, who will be performing at the bar again with his acoustic guitar. Cheryl Maclennan will also be taking to the stage to tell the audience about her unlikely tales in her usual humorous style.
Thomas Thurman will be reading some new poetry from his collection and award-winning poet Mel Jones will be showcasing her works.
Entry to the poetry evening is free and people are welcome to sign up to perform on the night. Performers should arrive at 7pm on the night.
