The smart Festival is one of the most exciting smart car events of the year.The annual event gives all smart car enthusiasts the chance to celebrate the smart car brand and meet others that share their passion.
The day started at Mercedes-Benz of Hindhead where we invited all of our smart customers to join us for Tea, Coffee and a hearty breakfast. We had a chat took some pictures and then start our 40 minute convoy to Mercedes-Benz World Brooklands along the A3.
We had a fantastic turn out this year with 40 cars and 120 guests which made for a great convoy and electric atmosphere. We gave our guest Union Jack flags to put on their smart cars which was a great touch as we could see who belonged to our convoy and created pretty spectacular scene on the journey.
When we arrived at Mercedes-Benz World we joined the 1000’s of other smart car enthusiasts (smarties) from all around the country and the festivities really begun. They had some great competitions; most modified, best dressed and best kept competition, fantastic demonstrations and a chance to look around the fabulous Brooklands museum.
The smart festival is a great opportunity for us to meet all our wonderful customers and talk about their pride and joy. It also gives us a chance to show them how much we appreciate them using Tony Purslow. It was a great day and we are already looking forward to smart Festival 2013.
