Jigsaw’s It’s a Knockout Day is a fun filled event guaranteed to bring together your employees whilst raising funds for your local charity!
The Jigsaw Trust is a UK registered charity based near Guildford, raising funds to support the education of children with autism spectrum disorders. Jigsaw relies heavily on the support of others to provide specialist educational support to children with ASD through the Jigsaw school.
The Jigsaw Summer Fun Day aims to raise between £10,000 and £15,000 for the charity.
How can your company get involved?
The Summer Fun Day is to take place on Saturday 25th June 2011 between 11:00am and 4:30pm at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome. In the shadow of a Boeing 747 aeroplane (featured in many films including James Bond), the main attraction of the day will be an ‘It’s a Knockout’ competition. Based on the popular 1970’s television show, teams will compete against each other on a giant inflatable assault course. This is a fantastic team building exercise for all companies, and not to mention, great fun!
Each team consists of 10 individuals and costs £600. We suggest a great way for each team to cover the cost would be for every team member to raise a minimum of £60 in sponsorship each. Alternatively the company itself could cover the cost as a charitable donation. As this is a fundraising event we would encourage the teams to raise as much money as possible.
If you would like to enter a team, please fill in the attached form and return it to Jigsaw asap along with £100 deposit (non-refundable). Once we have received this deposit we will send you a team fundraising pack and confirm details of the day.
