BKD Performers, Woking’s favourite dance school and new member of the Best of Guildford, is offering fantastic four-day workshops from 4-7 August. They’ll be held at the United Reform Church in Woking (very close to the station, for those of you coming from Guildford) and will last from 9am-3pm each day.
Workshops are available for ages 4 and up. The students will be learning numbers from Matilda, Annie, Grease, Fame, Mary Poppins, Hairspray and We Will Rock You – they’re sure to come home singing their hearts out!
Cathie Francis, BKD’s owner, is particularly excited about the workshops for 11-16 year olds as she has some booked in some fabulous guest teachers to lead them. All professional West End performers, these talented folk have generously taken a week out of their summer seasons in Matilda, Dance til Dawn and We Will Rock You to share their skills, knowledge and experience with Guildford’s budding performers.
