We don’t think we get to celebrate being English enough, so this is our chance, and we’re making three days of it!
Friday
We’ll be starting our weekend of being eccentrically English on Friday afternoon, with an Onslow version of GBBO for the local kids with Simon the baker from Celebration Cakes on hand to make those perfect bakes. Join us from 3:15pm.
If Gin’s more your thing, then join us from 7:30pm for Gin tasting with the pros form our local Gin supplier Silent Pool. They’ll be in to tell us why there isn’t a more English spirit on the market.
Saturday
Saturday you can meet the brewer, with the lovely chaps from Firebird with us to talk about great food pairings from 3:30pm.
Our English Charcuterie supplier, Capreolous will then be around from 7:30pm Saturday for a talk and tasting of some the best meats in England and they’ll even bring some of their produce for you to try.
Sunday
Sunday wouldn’t be a great English Sunday without a traditional Roast, so join us for one of our award-winning lunches, and be entertained by Fleur de Lys Morris Dancing ladies from 2pm who will be acting out the story of St George and why we celebrate this particular Patron Saint.
There’s lots going on, so book a table and enjoy a weekend of truly English specials and help us celebrate the fact that being English is simply splendid!
