Following a sell-out Christmas concert last year, The Sixteen choral ensemble returns to Guildford Cathedral on Friday 28 October as part of their 2011 Choral Pilgrimage.
Entitled Hail, Mother of the Redeemer, the pilgrimage celebrates the sumptuous music of Spanish composer Tomas Luis de Victoria, which he wrote in honour of the Virgin Mary, and marks the 400th anniversary of his death.
The performance begins at 7.30pm and includes plasma screens in the cathedral ensuring an excellent view from wherever you are seated.
Tickets cost £23 (Nave),
£20 (West Gallery)
and £10 for children,
students and ES40s.
