This coming bank holiday weekend why not take the family to the Royal Horticultural Society’s (RHS) garden at nearby Wisley where kids go for free.
Throughout the whole of August they have been running a series of events as part of their Great Garden Adventure programme, all designed to help develop outdoor skills and a love of all things back to nature.
And from this Saturday to Monday (28-30 August) there is mask making. From lovely ladybirds to marvellous minibeasts, children are invited to use their artistic talents to design colourful masks and create fabulous giant willow and tissue ladybirds, caterpillars and other such bugs.
For those with energy to burn, there is also the chance to weave through the giant sunflower maze and discover the fun and games to be had in the Wild at Wisley outdoor play area.
