Worplesdon View is one of the area’s most outstanding residential care homes, offering care for the elderly and specialising in looking after people with dementia. Regular, supervised activities are provided to stimulate the residents with dementia while a thoughtful building design creates a sense of familiarity and security. In addition, the families of dementia sufferers can receive support in the form of talks and events about not only Alzheimer’s disease but also practical topics such as grants and funding for residential care.
To help raise some more money for this excellent care home, Worplesdon View is holding a Christmas Bazaar. This event is open to the public and will take place on 23 November between 2pm and 4pm at the care home itself. You can start your Christmas shopping early – there’ll be a variety of delightful stalls selling cards and gifts, including an Arbonne beauty stall with lots of natural, paraben-free products. There’ll be mince pies and mulled wine and a chance to visit Santa’s Grotto too!
