Worplesdeon View is a new care home in the Guildford area and it is holding an Open weekend on 26 and 27 January 2013 from 10am-4pm . The 78 bed home offers nursing care, residential care and respite care.
Worplesdon View also specialises in the care of people suffering from dementia. Barchester Healthcare - of which this care home is part - has created Memory Lane Communities, a scheme designed to help those with dementia continue to get as much from life as possible. Different areas of the home have different colour schemes to help residents to easily identify them while stimulating but simple kitchen activities are carried out in the life skills kitchen under supervision and guidance. In addition, the designers have created a really home-like feel with large and comfortable bedrooms with en suite facilities, beautiful gardens and thoughtful interior design.
