Guildford Opera will perform two well-known one-act Italian operas, Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci, popularly known as Cav and Pag, on Wed 20, Friday 22 and Sat 23 November at the Electric Theatre. The operas feature complimentary tales of passion, jealousy and betrayal in 1950’s village life. They are sung in English in a new translation and accompanied by an orchestra and chorus.
