Feedback’s urban harvesting project aims to collect fruit from Hackney gardens that would otherwise not have been eaten. The harvest is then redistributed to various Hackney-based food projects, community groups and primary schools, so that the fruit reaches happy bellies within the community.
This project aims to reduce edible food waste in Hackney whilst offering a great opportunity for local residents to give back to their community through donating fruit or volunteering on a harvest.
If you have a tree with too much fruit to handle, let us know!
If you don’t have a tree but would like to get involved, come volunteer on a harvesting day!
