This new Fan Zone aims to provide West Ham United supporters with an exciting and engaging space to come together and celebrate their beloved football club with views of the iconic London Stadium.
The West Ham Fan Zone at Riverside East is set to become the go-to destination for fans on matchdays and beyond. This dedicated area will feature a wide range of entertainment and dining, designed to enhance the fan experience and foster a sense of community among supporters.
The Fan Zone will officially open its doors on Saturday, August 17, 2024, coinciding with West Ham United’s first home game of the season as the Hammers take on Aston Villa to kick off the 24/25 season. Guests will be welcomed to every home game to enjoy exclusive pre-game commentary from Martin Cee as well as score predictions and DJ sets to be enjoyed with a range of street food in the Yard.
The yard is home to East Side Pizza and Winging It - the perfect way to fuel fans for every game! The team behind East Side Pizza make the dough in-house using Wild Farmed regenerative flour before topping every base with their delicious homemade sauces. Winging It will be serving up their crowd-pleasing wings with a choice of Korean BBQ, House Buffalo, Triple M (maple syrup, mustard & mayo) and Southern Fried plus tater tots loaded with cheese sauce, sauces, crispy onions and mixed herbs.
Dj, compare and die hard fan, Martin Cee is back following a successful stint watching England get to the Euros final from Riverside East, hyping up the crowd, giving score predictions and bringing all the tunes for the ultimate football vibes.
Guests are encouraged to come early to make the most of Happy Hour, which features £5 pints of house lager and cider (Happy hour is available from opening until 2 hours before kick off.)
Riverside East will also be serving up pitchers and the big beer buckets of 20 cans served on ice - perfect for large groups, so you can spend more time socialising and less time queueing.
Tickets can be purchased in advance to guarantee entrance and each ticket includes a free pint of Legacy lager or house cider on entry.
Match Day Brunch at The Terrace
For those looking to level up their game day experience and book a table away from the hustle and bustle of the fan zone, guests can now enjoy pre-game table dining in the upstairs terrace and bar complete with alfresco terrace for jaw-dropping views over the London Stadium - located just two min walk from the stadium.
For just £25 per person, the in-house kitchen will set guests up for match day with a three course menu including a snack of truffle and parmesan tater tots for the table, followed by a choice of mains, a Jude’s ice cream as well as a house drink on arrival and bottomless coffee. For mains, guests can choose from dishes like the ‘Champions Fry-Up’ or ‘The Mighty Cheese’ - the juiciest burger in town, classic Eggs Benedict or ‘The Conqueror’, a plant-based burger from Moving Mountains.
For the evening games, guests can choose from two or three courses including a welcome snack, starters such as Lamb Kofta or Parmesan Croquettes, followed by mains including a juicy bavette steak or their famous chicken schnitzel finished with a choice of dessert all lovingly cooked by head chef Jamie Duvale. Two courses are priced at £32pp and three courses at £36pp.
Kids are welcome too with a dedicated £10 children's menu, including three courses and a drink.
Riverside East will be strictly home supporters only with proof of ticket required for entry.
