Wetherby Festival has become one of the most popular features in the town's vibrant events calendar and is set to return in October this year.
The festival has been held in Wetherby since 1977, when local vicar Jonathan Bailey had a lightbulb moment for a local arts festival and teamed up with festival director Ted Kilner.
Since then the festival has attracted a number of prominent arts figures such as the late (and great!) Stephan Grapelli and Humphrey Lyttelton, folk stars Kate Rusby and Kathryn Tickell and high profile names from the acting profession.
