If you like rugby, chances are you love the Six Nations..... a special time of the year when each and every game really matters for players and fans on both sides.
Six European Nations (England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Wales) compete to win the RBS Six Nations Trophy and England and Scotland have their own private battle for the coveted Calcutta Cup.
Highs and lows are guaranteed for every fan and it's an experience to be shared.
If you have a young family, it can be difficult to find a place to watch the game with other fans in Harrogate. Many of the places that show the match have confined spaces and the language is not exactly child friendly. The more family friendly places are unlikely to be showing a rugby match to avoid upsetting the shoppers and even if they do, eighty minutes is a long time to keep any child indoors.
We have the solution! Have you ever been to the new Harrogate Rugby Club on Rudding Lane?
The brand new clubhouse is the perfect place to share the game with other rugby fans in a family friendly setting. With a spacious bar, and plenty of place where you can see the kids on the terrace, it's full of rugby fans and their families to share the whole experience with.
The bar is long, making is easy to get served, there's food for the family and a range of soft drinks too. There are two TV screens so you can watch the game and keep and eye on the kids at the same time too.
If you'd rather stay at home where the kids are comfortable, why not treat yourself to some great beers. Paul from Ake and Humphris has pulled together his 1st XV team of quality beers to help you enjoy the Six Nations 2016.
Whoever you're supporting in this years tournament, we wish you luck at The Best of Harrogate.
