As with many traditions these days, celebrating motherhood by way of a Mother’s Day, is something that was started by the USA back in the early 20th century.
Many countries worldwide celebrate Mother’s Day, but not everyone does it on the same day.
In 2016, in the UK, Mother’s Day will be on 6th March and is known as ‘Mothering Sunday’, the fourth Sunday of Lent.
