It’s the Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning on the 25th September 2015. Macmillan Cancer Support started organizing coffee mornings since 1990 to raise funds for this charity. There were over 154,000 people registered in 2014 and over £20 million was raised for this worthy cause. Fundraising now includes cycling, walks, quiz nights, and several other events.
People around Harrogate are offering the traditional coffee morning set up, but many are also doing several other types of events to raise money for Macmillan. If you’d like to help raise money and would like to attend one of these events locally, here are a few suggestions:
