Harrow based photographic retailer, Razzaq Digital, has been recognised for its contribution to photography and excellence in customer service by being given the ‘Business Endeavour Award’ accolade by photographic giant Fujifilm.
The Fujifilm Business Endeavour Award was introduced by Fujifilm in order to ‘recognise our Fujifilm Digital Image Service (FDIS) members for their exceptional efforts in promoting and advancing the role of photo imaging on the high street.’ The Award was given to only three high-street retailers in the UK.
Razzaq Digital became a member of the FDIS group of retailers in 2011, following a meeting with Fujifilm at Focus On Imaging, Europe’s largest photographic trade show. Fujifilm works closely with all FDIS members by providing marketing help and general business support.
The shop, on Harrow’s Station Road, has become renowned within the area for their expert photographic services, in particular, their state-of-the-art Photo Studio, which as Manager Sumi Hasan says, has proven to be very popular.
“Since opening up our Studio, the Passport Service that we offer has been the most popular amongst our customers, and in particular, the ‘passport photos for baby’ service, as no other photographic retailer in the area caters to this.”
In addition to passport and ID photos, Razzaq Digital also offer t-shirt printing, mugs, messenger bags, memory blocks, key rings and a selection of beautiful frames to compliment the prints that the store can provide. Customers can also find a self-service Photo Kiosk, which Sumi explains, is ‘extremely easy to use and ideal for customers who are in a rush.’
On being a member of the FDIS scheme, Sumi says: “By being associated with Fujifilm, customers feel more secure in leaving their photographs with us and know we will deliver a quality service to them. We also have access to the fantastic offers that Fujifilm can provide which pleases our customers.”
The team from Razzaq Digital received their prestigious award at the 2012 FDIS National Conference held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Birmingham’s NEC on Saturday 3rd March.
