The second meeting of the North Harrow Traders Association took place this evening.
There was a mixed array of attendees ranging from local counsillors, traders and residents.
The main agenda for the meeting was to come up with a strategy/action plan on how to make North Harrow more inviting and boost trade to help the local businesses.
The Council came up with several suggestions on how to move things forward constructively but the end decision will be up to the traders.
A number of different subjects were also covered ranging from pedestrian crossing, carparking space, conjestion plus many other subjects.
It was discussed that North Harrow Traders Association is renamed to become North Harrow Association. So that all the residents and local community can come along and get involved and have their say.
A follow up meeting is going to be held and will inform you when confirmed.
The tone of the evening was fairly positive with Counsillor Keith Ferry doing a great job chairing the meeting.
