Pinner Sketch Club continues to attracts a diverse range of talented artists and art lovers of all ages from across Harrow and beyond.
Our popular summer art exhibition of about 200 affordable original paintings and sculpture is held annually in Pinner Parish Church Hall, attracting large numbers of visitors from across the region.
This year our 71st Summer Exhibition opens on Saturday 17th August and continues to Saturday 31st August. It is open daily; Monday to Saturday 10am – 6pm and on Sundays 12 noon – 6pm. Admission is free. It promises to be a visually stunning kaleidoscope of artwork across a range of media and genres and a real treat for all art lovers.
Three prizes are awarded annually; the prestigious Grimmett Award, the Joan Wilkerson Award and the Friends of Pinner Parish Church Award. Visitors have the opportunity to vote for their favourite artwork and enter the raffle to win a members painting.
Complementing the Summer Exhibition is the now well established Art in the Village, in its fourth successful year. Visitors to Pinner may view attractive displays of Pinner Sketch Club paintings in up to 20 Pinner shop windows from Saturday 4 August to Saturday 31 August.
Last year for the first time a mini summer exhibition took place in the Attic Gallery upstairs at Lines of Pinner 26 High Street Pinner. It was so popular and successful that a second Mini Summer Exhibition will take place again this year at the Attic Gallery and will coincide with the main event at Pinner Parish Church Hall.
Pinner Sketch Club thanks all participating local businesses for supporting the Summer Exhibition and helping to make Pinner ‘the destination’ for all art lovers this summer.
