The White Rock theatre is always a hive of activity and the rest of is no exception! There's a whole host of shows and entertainment for all the family over the next few months! 

Here are some of the highlights...

If it's comedy you're after then you'd be hard pressed to find bigger names on stage at the White Rock. Gag House Comedy with Nish Kumar and Tanya Lee Davis is happening 9th September and then you can catch Jimmy Carr and his unique laugh in his "Terribly Funny" tour a week later on 11th September. You can see Kevin Wilson on the 5th November & then Russell Kane brings his "The Fast & Curious" tour to Hastings on 19th November. The 2019 year of comedy ends with Rob Beckett who is back on tour with a brand new stand up show. He'll be at The White Rock on 3rd December. 

If you're looking to entertain the little ones why not bring them along to see the return of the performance of children's favourite "Dear Zoo", bringing the much loved children's book to life. Book in for performances on 15th & 16th September. 

In terms of drama performances what's often called the greatest of all romantic ballets, "Swan Lake" comes to the White Rock on the 20th September and Psychic Sally is with us on 11th October. Don't miss what promises to be a fabulous girls night out with the musical "Hot Flush" on the 15th October. Benjamin Zephaniah hosts a fascinating evening with "The Life And Rhymes Of Benjamin Zephaniah", explaining how he fought injustice and discrimination to lead a remarkable life, while sharing a selection of favourite stories and poems on 4th November. 

And for the next few months it's tribute bands and musical masterpieces galore - from tribute acts "The Drifters" (21st September), "Ultimate Genesis" (5th October), to "Christmas with the Rat Pack" on the 1st December, there's something for everyone.

It may seem mega early but you'd be surprised how quickly the tickets for the pantomime sell out. After the recent Giant success of Jack and the Beanstalk, this year’s panto will be a magic-carpet ride you’ll never forget, in the wish-granting family panto... Aladdin. Packed with all of the traditional pantomime ingredients White Rock audiences expect, Aladdin will be featuring an all star cast, loads of laughs, superb special effects and all the singing and dancing to keep everyone having loads of fun. It's such a hit with all the family so if you have a specific date in mind then bagging those tickets early is strongly advised. 

Aside from all the shows (and we're sure you'll agree there are some absolute crackers in there!), the theatre really is a fabulous place to enjoy a whole evening of entertainment. From weddings to corporate entertainment, parties to celebrations, the theatre has all the facilities you need to guarantee a fun time will be had by all. It's all part of the theatre's commitment to ensuring the fun starts before the curtains go down! From dining on delicious food before the show, or enjoying a few light refreshments, there is something for everyone. (For groups of 15 or more you should enquire about dining from the Seaside Menu in advance). Jump the queues at the interval by pre-ordering your interval drinks. The bar staff will happily take your order before the performance and your drinks will be ready and waiting in the interval.
