With greens reputed to be among the best in Suffolk, Haverhill Golf Club is an 18-hole, 6067 yard par 70 golf course set in beautiful parkland. Lying across two valleys, the front and back nine holes are bisected by the River Stour, which meanders gently through the course, presenting a challenge for beginners and seasoned golfers alike.

Haverhill Golf Club has plenty to offer; as well as being a Golf Mark Accredited facility, it offers expert coaching for children and adults, has a Junior Academy that nurtures young local talent, a golf shop that can price match the high street stores and the internet, as well as a friendly clubhouse, which is a popular venue for corporate and private functions.

Having first been awarded the Golf Mark Award with High Achiever status in 2009, Haverhill Golf Club is proud to have been granted a continuation of this accreditation by the Suffolk Golf Partnership. This standard is recognised by governing body, England Golf, and demonstrates Haverhill Golf Club's commitment to:

Coaching

Head PGA Professional Paul Wilby and Assistant Professional Ollie Rush offer expert coaching at Haverhill Golf Club for the absolute beginner right through to the advanced player who is looking for the highest level of knowledge. 

They offer free group days for adult beginners, followed by an 8 week low cost course of lessons to help establish you as a new golfer. These promotion days consist of learning the basics on the golf range and short game practice areas, followed by lunch then afterwards out onto the golf course, set in idyllic parkland surroundings, for a taste of what Haverhill Golf Club has to offer. 

The Golf Professionals are very approachable and extremely enthusiastic to help golfers of all abilities and they are on hand to offer support and advice whenever you need it.

Junior Golf

Youngsters living in the CB9 postcode area are entitled to a free golf taster session on Sunday mornings between 10.00-11.00 am with Assistant Professional Ollie Rush. Haverhill’s Junior Academy Programme is a good way of progressing young golfers and since the Academy was created in 2008, the Golf Club's Junior Section has increased to 70 members of which a total of 15 juniors have gone onto represent Haverhill Golf Club at County level.

The golf shop at Haverhill Golf Club is a member of the Foremost Buying Group, where over 1,000 golf professionals have joined forces to drive forward their buying power in order to compete and on occasion beat the deals on offer from golf superstores and internet companies.

Equipment brands in stock include Taylormade, Ping, Titleist, Wilson and MD although other leading brands including Callaway, Adams and Nike can also be sourced. There is a free custom fit service for golf clubs and an extensive club repair service available with a fast turnaround.

Over 600 garments are stocked including shirts, jumpers, trousers, belts, jackets and waterproofs, together with a wide range of golf shoes, trolleys, golf bags, golf balls and other accessories.

Clubhouse 

After an energetic round of golf, there is nothing better than relaxing and socialising in Haverhill Golf Club's clubhouse. Stocking a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, caterer Jon Grimwood serves a wide selection of delicious, freshly cooked food seven days a week, including breakfast, lunch and a hearty Sunday carvery every weekend.

Please note that there is a dress code and mobile phones must be turned off, both on the golf course and in the clubhouse.

Centrally located on Coupals Road, Haverhill Golf Club is ideally placed to hold a wide variety of private and corporate functions, including:

Membership

Haverhill Golf Club offers a variety of membership categories, including 5 and 7 day adult membership, discounted membership for junior golfers, 18-22 year olds, and for 23-25 year olds, Country Membership and new for 2013, Parkland Academy Membership for adult beginners/novice golfers that have not been a member of another golf club.

For the non golfer Social membership is available at a cost of £25 + VAT per year so you can enjoy the restaurant and bar facilities in the clubhouse.
