The final of the winter mixed foursomes was contested between Siobhan & Tom Harrison and Mary Sail & Alan Carter. Siobhan reported that although they had received 10 shots from their opponents, the match was extremely close up until the 17th, when they finally managed to secure victory by 3&1. Siobhan commented they were so pleased to have reached the final as they faced Alice & Chris Iron in their semi final match, who had previously won the event for two years running (back in 2012 and 2013). Siobhan added she was pleasantly surprised as she had played so well during the semi final match and qualify through with a win by 6&5.
Haverhill Juniors competed in the January Stableford on Saturday 16th January. The winner was Josh Hulyer with 30pts and the runner up was Harry Proctor with 29pts.
