Polling cards sent to electors in Suffolk County Council’s Haverhill Cangle Division contain incorrect information for which St Edmundsbury Borough Council apologises. The polling card incorrectly states that Suffolk County Council’s Haverhill Cangle division is a St Edmundsbury vacancy. The vacancy came about following the resignation of Cllr Anne Gower.
The error does not affect people’s right to vote in any of the elections (for general, county, borough and town) because they do not need a polling card to place their votes. All the other information on the card is correct.
