Indian banquets, jewellery, children’s clothing, home décor, garden accessories – the first Haverhill Craft and Gift market will have it all this Saturday.
Twenty new stalls will be adding to the flavour of the traditional town market, with everything from ships in bottles, teddy bears and wooden toys, to baby massage and reflexology, Brazilian sauces, cupcakes and homemade burgers.
The craft and gift market will take place on Peas Hill and the Market Square from 9am to 3pm.
Sharon Fairweather, markets development officer for St Edmundsbury Borough Council which runs the markets, said: “This is our first craft and gift market on the Haverhill Market.
“The council is keen to support the growth of the market in Haverhill and the new stallholders have been offered the chance to trade for free for the day, to see if they would like to become a regular stallholder and boost the town’s offer.
“We really hope residents and visitors will support both the new and the regular traders to make this a stand out day on our calendar of events.”
