Local teenager aims high at the grand final of Open Mike UK.
At just sixteen, local singing sensation, Jade Donno has beaten off over 8,000 entrants to reach the final of Open Mike UK.
The singing competition is the biggest of its kind in the country and attracts unsigned artists from all genres. Offering the experience of singing on stage and national acclaim, the competition also promises prizes which include; professional master classes, studio time, a recording contract and a 100 gig date UK tour.
Jade, from Sturmer near Haverhill, beat off tough competition in both Ipswich and Bedford in the regional and area finals, to secure her place this Saturday in the grand final at London's O2 arena.
