Despite cuts across Suffolk that have resulted in seven recycling centres closed Haverhill's Household Waste Recycling Centre at Coupal's Road will remain open.
Axing 7 of the 18 Household Waste Recycling Centres and reducing opening hours at the remaining centres is part of a £2.3 million saving from Suffolk County Council'swaste services budget.
The council have stated that they remain committed to recycling and promise to work with their partners in Suffolk's district and borough councils to prosecute anyone who breaks the law by flytipping.
The new opening hours for the Haverhill Household Waste Recycling are April - September: 9am - 5pm Monday to Saturday.
October to March: 9am - 4pm Monday to Saturday.
All year round: 10am until 4pm - Sundays and bank holidays.
