Amateur photographers could see their work featured in a fundraising calendar, in aid of St Nicholas Hospice Care.
The charity is launching a competition for photographs of uplifting scenes from the region, which would be suitable for inclusion in the Hospice’s 2013 calendar.
Susanne Dickson, Retail Co-ordinator, said: “We want the calendar to feature some beautiful and uplifting scenes to reflect every season, taken in the West Suffolk and Thetford area.”
The photographs will be judged by a panel including professional photographers, a Hospice Trustee and a patient.
Susanne added: “We will be doing our best to choose the images which we think are eye-catching. I know there are many keen amateur photographers out there, so I urge them to look through their files and select their best photograph.”
The closing date for entries is 4pm on Friday, 23 March.
