The Men's Midweek Stableford was played on Wednesday 9th December. Alan Carter was the overall winner, returning a very respectable score of 39pts, reducing his handicap by a shot to 8. The full results were: Division One: 1st place Alan Carter 39pts, 2nd place James Hastie 37pts, 3rd place Tom Walker 32pts. Division Two: 1st place Richard Norden 38pts, 2nd place Stuart Haworth 33pts, 3rd place Mark Firman 31pts. Division Three: 1st place Andrew Howard 38pts, 2nd place Barry Shuter 33pts on count back, 3rd place Dave Hedley 33pts.
Haverhill Juniors competed in a 9 hole stableford competition on Sunday 13th December. The winner was Jason Carpenter with 22pts, the runner up was Harry Proctor with 17pts on count back from 3rd place Josh Hulyer on count back and James Iron, both with 17pts.
Haverhill Head Professional Paul Wilby hosted his Christmas Cracker on Saturday 12th December. All sections of the golf membership were represented and in total 96 players took part in the event which was stableford format, played off 7/8ths handicap. The winners were the father and son partnership of Colin & Ben Bradnam with 45pts, in 2nd place were Mark Barratt & Dave Rosenwold with 44pts and in 3rd place Andy Fish & Jason West with 43pts.
