Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault on Mundy Street in Heanor which left a man with a broken collar bone.
The incident happened at about 9.55pm on Saturday June 29 when the victim and alleged offender had an argument.
The victim, who is a 51-year-old local man, was taken to hospital where he was treated for a broken collar bone and minor head injuries.
A 24-year-old man from Langley Mill was arrested at the scene and has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
