Ripley Academy of Dance & Drama
Every year the fantastic team at Ripley Academy run a summer school during the first week of the holidays and 2013 is no exception. This year the theme will be Disney Pixar's sensational film UP! Explore Paradise Falls through a fun set of drama and dance activities. The Summer School will run from 29th July to 2nd August and is open to kids aged 4 - 14 regardless of ability. Heanor Guitar and Drum Music School
The birthplace of the rock stars of the future, our highly recommended local music school is offering 6 x 30 minute lessons for £40 or 6 x 1 hour lessons for just £80. Lessons take place in The Rockin Rooms in Langley Mill, a dedicated musical rehearsal studio where you can get a real feel for playing in a band. There are no scales and boring tunes here - Jack will have you playing real music from your very first lesson. Next stop, Glastonbury baby!
Derby College LIPA 4:19 Summer School
The creative team at LIPA 4:19 at Derby College have a passion for musical theatre and want to share it with our local kids. They'll be exploring songs from West End shows, learning exciting dance routines and creating their own drama. they've got two separate weeks availablem either 29th July to 2nd August, or 12th - 16th August, each for just £150.
