So, after all the excitement and the activity of our 14 Days of Love

Campaign, the results are finally in and it's been an amazing success.

It was an incredibly tight contest and the final result really could have

swung either way.  The fantastic Go Mobile in Heanor and Custom Automotive

in Ripley were neck and neck for much of the last 4 days and the final

hours were nailbiting, as each added vote after vote at almost an equal

rate. Right at the last minute, Go Mobile pulled the all-important 3

reviews out of the bag to clinch the title.  The top 5 finished like this:

As well as the Most Loved Business in Town accolade, businesses were also

competing nationally in their own respective categories.

Thebestof network now has around 500 local areas up and down the UK and

businesses from each and every one were eligible for this campaign. That's

why we're really proud to announce that our little area has no less than 7

local businesses achieving a top 5 place in those national categories.

4th Place - Muse Gallery and Art Studio - Heage

Most Loved Radio Station in the UK

4th Place - Amber Sound FM - Amber Valley

Most Loved Fancy Dress Shop in the UK

4th Place - The Event Place - Ripley

Our most loved businesses have certainly punched above their weight,

especially when you consider that Heanor and Ripley is one of the smallest

bestof areas in the country.  And factor in that the top 3 businesses have

only been in the network since January, and that the results were based on

total reviews collected since 1st March LAST YEAR, this really is an

outstanding achievement. Just think what we can do next year...

Of course, none of this would have happened without YOU and the reviews

you've left for your favourite businesses. However, whilst the 14 days

campaign may be over, we still need you to keep telling us about more great

businesses that we can recommend to others. We want to build this into a

really comprehensive network covering everything you might need, but we

can't do that without your help.
