The actual results from many of them are doubtful at best and blatantly untrue at worst. There is only one calculation that really works when it comes to long term, sustainable health, fitness and weight loss - burn more calories than you eat!

Quite simply, a good, nutritious diet and a sensible amount of regular exercise is the best way to maintain a healthy weight and physique. If you want to lose a bit of weight and get much fitter, the best thing to do is reduce your intake of calories slightly and increase the amount of exercise you do.
