Amber Valley Borough Council are running a fantastic scheme in conjunction with Apex Carbon Solutions to help residents of Heanor and Ripley, and the whole Amber Valley, to insulate their homes, offering huge reductions on loft and cavity wall insulation.
Typically, insulating a home costs an average of £250 for the walls and £250 for the loft, but prices through this scheme start from just £99 for the walls and £49 for the loft. And if you are over 70, or on qualifying benefits you could even get this absolutely FREE, (subject to survey).
Good quality loft and wall insulation can also help save a fortune on energy bills too - with £145 from loft insulation and £110 from insulating the walls alone.
That's a whopping over £600 saving!
